Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a prevalent chronic illness characterized by persistent respiratory symptoms and airflow limitation. Among various treatment options, nebulizing furosemide (Lasix) is commonly used, yet its effectiveness compared to placebo remains unclear. This systematic review synthesizes data from clinical trials published between 2002 and 2018 to evaluate the therapeutic impact of nebulized furosemide on COPD patients. The analysis employs rigorous methodologies, including the PRISMA protocol and meta-analysis techniques, to ensure comprehensive and reliable results.
