Non-tuberculous mycobacteria (NTM) pulmonary disease has seen an increase in reports globally, linked to an ageing population and improved diagnostic techniques. This review aims to highlight the trends in incidence, important risk factors, and management strategies for NTM pulmonary disease, emphasizing the need for more data collection and reporting in affected regions.
