The prevalence of heart failure (HF) is increasing, affecting over 64 million people worldwide. This document emphasizes the critical role of quadruple GDMT in improving survival rates and quality of life for patients with HFrEF. Despite strong clinical evidence and guidelines, the actual implementation of GDMT in clinical practice is suboptimal, with less than 25% of eligible patients receiving appropriate therapy. The authors analyze real-world patterns of GDMT initiation and highlight the need for improved adherence to treatment protocols.
