Atrial tachycardias (ATs) are increasingly recognized in clinical practice and are associated with a high symptom burden, frequent hospitalizations, and adverse cardiovascular outcomes. Despite their growing importance, management has historically been embedded within broader supraventricular tachycardia guidelines, resulting in heterogeneous treatment approaches. This review places the recent international clinical consensus statement into the context of contemporary guidelines and expert documents, emphasizing a shift towards catheter ablation as the most effective rhythm control strategy.
