Congestion is a common clinical feature of ADHF, leading to symptoms and unplanned hospitalisation. Traditional assessment methods often fall short, especially in patients with comorbidities like obesity. This document reviews both established and novel techniques for evaluating congestion, emphasizing their importance in achieving euvolaemia and improving patient outcomes. The findings highlight the need for better diagnostic tools to manage various congestion phenotypes effectively.
