Necrotising soft-tissue infections are life-threatening conditions characterized by necrosis of subcutaneous tissue, fascia, or muscle. The incidence of these infections has increased, and they are often misdiagnosed, leading to delays in treatment that can worsen morbidity and mortality. This document provides practical approaches for the management of these infections, including the need for early diagnosis, surgical debridement, and appropriate antibiotic therapy. The authors advocate for increased awareness among healthcare providers to enhance early referral and improve prognosis.
