The review systematically assesses studies from MEDLINE and Scopus published between 2012 and 2023, focusing on the accuracy of ST-segment elevation in identifying ACO. It includes data from three studies with a total of 23,704 participants, revealing a pooled sensitivity of 43.6% and a specificity of 96.5%. The findings suggest that a significant number of ACO cases may not present with ST-segment elevation, highlighting the need for a reevaluation of current diagnostic criteria.
