The study presents findings from an international, open-label, randomized, noninferiority trial conducted at 48 centers in Europe. It compares two strategies: TAVI before PCI and PCI before TAVI, in patients with severe aortic stenosis and coronary artery disease. The primary endpoint was a composite of death from any cause, nonfatal myocardial infarction, and ischemia-driven revascularization, among other secondary endpoints. The results aim to clarify the best approach for managing these patients to improve outcomes.
