The New England Journal of Medicine
Patients who have experienced a noncardioembolic ischemic stroke or transient ischemic attack are at a heightened risk for recurrent strokes. The study evaluates whether adding asundexian to standard antiplatelet therapy could provide superior outcomes compared to antiplatelet therapy alone. The findings aim to clarify the role of factor XI inhibition in stroke prevention strategies.
