Spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) is a common cerebrovascular condition associated with significant mortality and morbidity. This review aims to update previous findings on the impact of dexamethasone treatment in ICH patients by analyzing data from randomized clinical trials published over the last 15 years. The analysis includes a total of 7 trials, assessing the relative risk of death and poor outcomes between treatment and control groups. The findings indicate no significant difference in mortality or outcomes, particularly after excluding studies with high risk of bias.
