The Trident Research Group
The research involved a multinational, double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled trial with patients who had a history of intracerebral hemorrhage. Participants were assigned to receive either a triple pill containing telmisartan, amlodipine, and indapamide or a placebo. The primary outcome measured was the incidence of recurrent stroke, with secondary outcomes including blood pressure control and major cardiovascular events. Results indicated that the triple pill significantly reduced the risk of recurrent stroke compared to placebo.
